Celebrate the Past!

Head to Tombstone to check out the Gunfight at OK Corral - a realistic re-enactment of the famous fight between the local lawmen and outlaw cowboys. Then check out the ghost towns of Gleeson, known for its copper mining, Pearce, known for being the largest gold mining camp in Arizona, and Millville, which was the milling site for the Tombstone silver mines. These towns flourished from the late 1800’s through the early 1900’s, but now you have to search for clues of what they once were, and who lived, worked, and died there.

Cochise County has several courses including the spectacular Pueblo Del Sol Country Club’s Championship 18 hole, 7,174 yard Course, along with its exercise, dining, and meeting facilities.

Mountain View Golf Course features a Championship level course with tee combinations ranging from 4,300 to 7,100 yards.

The communities of Douglas (Douglas Municipal, 18 hole), and Wilcox (Twin Lakes, 9 hole), operate municipal courses with options for various skill levels.

And remember - the higher elevation of Cochise County you can play a cool round of golf year round!
